| The tip is hands down,
the most important part of the cue.
We select the best genuine leather (outer skin,
the toughest skin tissue) directly from Italy. The tissues that
are normally used in traditional tips are almost always from hot,
humid climates, usually Asia. Subtropical animal skin tissues are
limper, lack tenacity and are not rich in elasticity. Italy has
exported the very best in genuine leathers for many years. It's
cold and dry weather conditions make their leathers the toughest
and most resilient and is prime for use in tips.
Generally speaking, an indentation will be left
on a tip after a hit, affecting densities in the tip, thus affecting
a player's consistency in hitting accurate shots. Our Italian Laminated
Tip [ILT], is compressed between layers of Epoxy resin (one of the
very best resins in the world) using 50 ton/cm2 of pressure.
A total of 8 layers are put together and are finalized by one giant
squeeze of 100 ton/cm2.
Our tips are absolutely unparalleled in performance
characteristics. We compared our laminated tip using Italian leather
among the other leading brands using 2 meter high drop testing.
After repeated impacts we found very quickly that the other brands,
using poorer leathers, were left with sunken depressions around
their edges. As we suspected, after just as many punishing drops,
our Italian leather tips were as good as new and ready to play as
always.

Seen here in the collision test, the edge
is the weakest part of the tip.
*Our ILT tip is maintains
its shape, thus providing stable function in power bearing and energy
exertion, shot after shot after shot.
*Ordinary Tips are
easily sunken, dented or depressed during a game, which quickly
saps them of their elasticity and consistency.
